To Glitter or Not To Glitter for Prom?

I don’t know about you, but I love sparkle. The more jewels, the better! Bring it on! I want to glow as bright as a star, shine hotter than the sun, and blind onlookers with my diamond like brilliance. However, that might not be your style. There is something to be said about subtle and understated beauty. Even though glitter and shimmer are perfect for prom, it might be a good idea to go for things like texture, contrast, and interesting construction when picking out your next prom dress. I found a few of these dresses off of TrendyCollection.com that may not sparkle, but will still make you shine.

Mori Lee Paparazzi 97099

When I saw this dress from Mori Lee Paparazzi 97099 I was amazed. It’s totally hot, sexy, and sultry, but not a hint of sparkle! The simplicity of this dress is what makes it so special. I loved the smooth lines, trumpet skirt, and fully open back. You don’t need rhinestones when a dress like this lets your skin glow naturally!

Cinderella Divine 9193

I might be cheating a little bit since this dress from Cinderella Divine 9193 has just a hint of sparkle on the bust, however it’s too cute to not include. The contrast of this garment is eye catching enough! Add a little bit of skin into the mix, and you don’t need the clutter of stones and jewels. This dress is remarkable all on its own. With its understated nature, you can add accessories to make it pop even more!

Cinderella Divine 6007
Get all the glam of prom without the heavy stonework. This dress from Cinderella Divine 6007 has texture, an exciting neckline, and bold cut outs to make it stand out. It comes in two colors, red and black, which we all know are seductive colors indeed! Any jewels or stones would take away from the simple sexiness of this dress. Your smile is the only glitter this dress needs to create the perfect evening ensemble!
